Does the 5G network service provided by Jio is pure 5G?

There are 61 countries globally that use commercial 5G networks currently, and more than 65 countries are ready to invest in this platform. In India, Jio digital life, the largest telecom industry in India, is about to offer a 5G network. There is a rumour circulating at present that the 5G network which is going to be provided by Reliance Jio is not pure 5G technology; it’s just one of the upgraded versions of 4G technology which lies between 4G to 5G, as earlier when Jio digital life introduced 4G network it used certain devices and SoC which can be upgraded to 5G network. Also, to provide a 5G network, new base stations should be set up over the wide areas, but as for now, Jio ties up with Google to provide a new Android-powered engineered system.

Is the launch of the 5G smartphone a trap to increase the 5G service users?

Certainly, the commercially available 5G smartphones cost above Rs30,000 or Rs40,000. Whereas it is not an affordable payment for 90 per cent of Indian users.
