Apple’s annual events are always exciting as people eagerly wait for them to be hosted to know about the latest technology offered by the most valuable company of the world. Apple Inc. has not been hosting an event in the month of April since 2010, and you bet that this unusual event hosted virtually is rumoured to be aired on 6th April, will have some spectacular goodies in store.
This said, Apple’s event is anticipated more when there is a launch of a novel innovation that requires explanation and not for updated or reiterative products as they are straightforward in understanding.
So, the products expected in this event are Apple TV, iPad Pro, iPad mini and Macs.
Apple TV
There are two rumour mills on the Apple entertainment unit. One that surrounds just the usual update of the processor wherein the A12X is added to the current box to support the HDR composite content and the new generation arcade games of Apple. The second prediction is a farfetched one stating a processor up-gradation to A14X. This processor will be in power to the M1 Macbook Pro and Air.
The Siri remote will also be revised, and the hope is for a U1 chip. Life would be much easier knowing exactly under which cushion is the remote stuck now. A gamepad launch by Apple is also being predicted.
iPad Pro
The iPad Pro allegedly will have a chipset similar to the M1 Chip. What would make it special is the dedicated controllers for Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt would be a great addition to the contrast ratio display of Mini-LED. But would be paramount to the speed provided for storage. This Apple product would be provided with a Qualcomm 5G modem, a good development to keep up with the high-speed network.
iPad mini
The popularity of the iPad mini is well known to all, be it on TechTube or TechTwitter. Even with uncertainty in the air about its release, Apple has definite expectations to make the latest iPad mini with a larger screen, delete the home button, and add the fingerprint scanner in the power button similar to iPad Air-style.
A small section of tech geeks does hope deep within to see a tiny keyboard to go along with the iPad mini, just like the small HomePod mini house was made last October.
Macs
Hopes flare when Apple announces launch events, and this is no exception. A need for an M1X MacBook Pro with 16-inch is the call for the hour. But there aren’t any signs of this being released any time soon. This could be put off till June or could be launched the traditional way in October or November. So, these are some hopes and predictions with regards to the Apple April event 2021.
