I have hand picked these top 5 phones under 25000 price bracket. There are a lot other phones in this price range, but I wanted this information to be as neat as possible. So, I took a great time in extracting these 5 phones so that you don’t have to.
I have categorised the specifications of these phones into 5 major category, also called the pillars of any smartphone. These are Display, Processor Performance, Camera Perfomance, User Interface (UI) & Experience (UX) & Battery Performance. Design & Finish of any smartphone is also very important but it vary user to user. If a design of a phone look good to me that does not mean it will look good to everyone, it’s subjective. We will evaluate the design at the end.
Although, you can buy any of these smartphones under 25000 rupees and you will not regret. But, I will give my recommendations to these smartphones in terms of value for money you are spending and the features you are looking from these smartphones under 25000 rupees. Let’s dive in.
Display
Display Quality
After spending alot of screen-on time on these 5 smartphones I can say that the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G is a clear winner. Its curve display and AMOLED screen is unbeatable at this price range.
Winner: Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G
Runnerup: Samsung M53 5G
Display Performance
Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G is a huge disappointment when it comes to display performance. The 120hz high refresh rate on this phone is laggy and gives a bad user experience. It might get optimised through OTA update in the future, but only time will tell. On the other hand refresh rate on Samsung M53 5G performs great with no lag and no performance issues.
Winner: Samsung M53 5G
Runnerup: All 3 except Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G
Display Brightness
If you are looking for a phone that performs well outdoors or if your main concern is a bright display, choose IQOO Neo 6 5G. Its peak brightness of 1300 Nits will give the display a clear win over other phones in this price segment. You can easily watch videos and other content in the direct sunlight on Neo 6 screen.
Winner: IQOO Neo 6 5G
Runnerup: Moto Edge 30 5G
Performance
Processor
Your smartphone performance is directly dependent on your processor power and how well the software is optimised to handle the processing. Good synchronisation between a well developed hardware and beautifully crafted software gives an overall performance boost to any smartphone. In our list of phones under 25000 rupees the IQOO Neo 6 5G is a clear winner with Snapdragon 870. This processor kills the other phones in our list when it comes to overall performance. The phone will feel snappy while opening and closing of apps. Gaming experience on the IQOO Neo 6 5G is great and you can maxout the game settings without dropping frame rates.
In our list of smartphones in 25000 rupees the Nothing Phone 1 & Moto Edge 30 both has a 778G+ which performs well and has no issues in terms of overall performance. The optimisation on these smartphones are quite good with stock android interface. The Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G is equipped with Dimensity 1080 processor and Samsung M53 5G is equipped with Dimensity 900 which is lowest among the list of 5 smartphones.
Winner: IQOO Neo 6 5G
Runnerup: Nothing Phone 1 & Moto Edge 30
Gaming Experience
Although, all the smartphones are capable of high quality gaming for a longer period of time without much of the frame drop. But, i will not recommend Samsung M53 5G and Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G dedicatedly for gaming. You may see some frame drops while playing the full map. The Moto Edge 30 5G and Nothing Phone 1 with 778G+ processor is a better option when it comes to gaming. The phones are well optimised and frame drops are rare while gaming.
The winner in this list of smartphones is IQOO Neo 6 5G, the gaming experience on this phone is great. You will likely see any frame drop or lag while gaming. The Snapdragon 870 is well optimised for gaming and last really long without heating issues while playing games. You can buy this phone for intense gaming sessions.

Each smartphone from our list performs well when it comes to day light picture quality. Among the photos we clicked it’s hard to give one phone advantage over other. There is one interesting survey of blind smartphone camera test by MKBHD, you can be part of it. You will find it some interesting results of the phones listed in this blog too.
From the photos above you can see the Nothing Phone 1 and IQOO Neo 6 & Realme 10 Pro Plus perform considerably better when it comes to consistency of the picture quality. It captures high dynamic range well and gives a decent picture quality without over doing to the photos.
One thing is for sure the picture quality of human subject is totally different from the pictures of flowers, landscape and other objects.
You can see from the pictures above that the phone that performs well with landscape does not give the same quality while capturing the human subject.
But, if I have to pick the best smartphone camera phone under 25000 rupees then my order would be:
Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G
Nothing Phone 1
IQOO Neo 6 5G
Samsung M53 5G
Moto Edge 30 5G
Winner: Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G
Runnerup: Nothing Phone 1 & IQOO Neo 6 5G
Selfie Camera Photography
The front facing camera or the selfie camera of all the smartphones are good but he winner is Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G which performs surprisingly well in portrait mode.
Winner: Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G
Runnerup: IQOO Neo 6 5G & Nothing Phone 1
Camera Videography
The video quality on these phones are dramatically different from what we have seen in the still photography. The stabalisation on Moto Edge 30 5G is far better than the rest of the phones. Although you can see a bit exposure issue in the Moto Edge 30 video but overall it performs well. Watch my full video review here:
Winner: Moto Edge 30 5G
Runnerup: IQOO Neo 6 5G & Nothing Phone 1
User Experience
User Interface
When it comes to smartphone daily use, the user experience is what matters most. Every time we use our phone, we expect it to perform the way we want it to. A slight delay while opening and closing of apps, camera shutter speed delay or jittering while swiping up and down makes it hard for users to have good experience.
In our list of phones under 25000 we have kept the user experience a priority.
Using the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G was the worst user experience we’ve ever had. The Hot Apps in a phone itself is a downgrade from a good user experience. Although the phone has a great curve display which is a positive but the 120hz screen struggles a lot to maintain a consistency while switching between the apps, watching videos or even playing games. It’s really hard to believe that a phone which performs so well in the Camera department works totally opposite on user interface and experience.
IQOO Neo 6 5G is also promoting hot apps and other apps which according to me is not a great to increase user experience.
On the other hand Samsung M53 5G One UI is a great user experience and performs really well. The fluid experience on M53 makes it a preferred choice for those who love great user experience on smartphones.
Winner: Samsung M53 5G (One UI)
Runnerup: Nothing Phone 1 & Moto Edge 30 (Stock Android)
Supporting User Experience
Design & Build Quality
Nothing Phone 1 has a distinct advantage over other smartphones despite its design being a matter of personal preference. In addition to its glass back panel, this phone features a unique transparent Glyph interface that makes it a popular choice among users.
The other smartphones on our list of best phones in 25000 price range have the same boring plastic back design.

Speakers
All the smartphones in our list except the Samsung M53 5G has a stereo speakers setup which performs great on rest all the smartphones. Samsung M53 5G has an average sound quality from the speakers.
Security
Samsung M53 5G & Moto Edge 30 5G are the clear winners when it comes to the smartphone security. Both Samsung & Motorola uses their own smartphone security system Knox & ThinkShield respectively. This takes the user experience on a whole new level. Other phones lack such security features.
Calling
There isn’t any issue at all while connecting to calls or hearing to other person on call. All the phones performs great.
Battery Performance
We can determine which is the best phone under 25000 rupees price range once we have the battery test results for the five smartphones we selected.
The weakest battery performer from the list is Moto Edge 30 5G, it will hardly last a day.
The strongest battery performer from the list is Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G, it can last upto 2 days if you have a decent usage. Samsung M53 5G is also a great battery performer because of its optimised One UI. The other phones can also last an entire day but don’t expect more.
My Recommendation
From the tests we ran and using the phones for several weeks and months, I can clearly come to a conclusion. Although, I don’t find any major issues or bugs on these smartphones but considering the number of factors and minute details I can recommend one phone over the other. Here are my recommended phones in order of highly recommended to least recommended from the list of 5 smartphones we picked.
IQOO Neo 6 5G – A great performer with Snapdragon 870, the camera is also good, fluid 120hz experience.
Nothing Phone 1 – An overall all-around performance with a unique Glyph interface and a great camera.
Samsung M53 5G – Trust of Samsung and great One UI experience, a decent camera.
Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G – Great curve display, great battery backup, hit & miss camera setup
Moto Edge 30 5G – Neat & Clean stock android experience, nice design to hold.
These are my recommendations, but I want to know your preferred choice as well. Kindly write down your preferred choice from the list of best phones under 25000 rupees price range.
