The iQOO Z3 5G is an affordable phone, more particularly for gaming lovers. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC  and is paired with upto 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage option. The phone also features 6.5 -inch full HD + display that supports 120 Hz refresh rate. The mobile is equipped with a 4400mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. The battery life is good. The triple camera set-up also offers optimum results. On the back, it has 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera with 120-degree FOV and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie camera. The top-class cameras make it more likeable. The side-mounted fingerprint censor is beneficial.

The smartphone has triple cameras that consists of a primary 64MP camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree field-of-view and 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie camera in front. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G SoC with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. This is paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB storage options to choose from. Of course, eye-catching design is an added advantage. It’s relatively light and compact. The screen is pleasant enough and the speaker is quite good. Games and videos were both enjoyable. However, the smartphone can be preferred only around Rs 15,000 or else, needs to be ignored.

The phone sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle and a macro camera. The 5,000mAh battery also delivered very good battery life and easily lasts beyond a day of use. A 33W charger is bundles in the box. The phone manages good shots during the day with the primary and the ultra-wide-angle camera. However, this camera aspect needs improvement. All in all, the phone offers good performance and is likely to suit casual as well as heavy users.

Some phones, super value for the money

In the price range below Rs 20,000, only these two-three phones are best recommended. But if you can stretch the budget of Rs 20,000 a little you’ll get super value for the money. In the price range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, you’ll have multiple options like Xiaomi Mi 11, Samsung M52, Realme master edition, Moto edge 20 Fusion and Samsung F series.
