Mi 11 smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 has already been unveiled by Xiaomi in China in December 2020 and globally on 8th February. As per the confirmation of Xiaomi via Twitter, the launching of Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro has been decided on 23rd April 2021 online and will be live-streamed on Xiaomi’s social media channels.

The earlier launched Mi 11 is specified with Android 11 OS, 1440×3200 pixels resolution, and a 6.81-inch OLED display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Talking about the memory and storage, Mi 11 had 8 GB RAM and 128 GB capacity of storage, combined with 4,600mAh battery capacity. What is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC processor?

It is known that both the new arrivals of the Mi 11 series possess Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. Snapdragon 888 performs 22.17% and 9.97% higher in terms of single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, compared to the Snapdragon 865. Compared with Snapdragon 855, it possesses 89.17% and 51.82% better tests, respectively. With this, Qualcomm gets back to its SoC strengths.

Better battery life and lower cost are the biggest advantages of Snapdragon 888. It carries only one chip instead of two resulting in thinner, sleeker phones.

Is there any update about the Mi 11 Lite variant?

A rumour encountered regarding the existence of a third model Mi 11 Lite variant with a 6.55-inches AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. A belief is being circulated in India a third model Mi 11 Lite variant series also will be released along with these phones. Mi 11 Lite may be launched as a 4G variant with Snapdragon 732G SoC and in 5G variant with Snapdragon 765G SoC. It carries a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple rear camera and 20-megapixel selfie capturer. It has a 4,250mAh battery capacity and 33 W fast charging. Two Mi 11 series handsets with model number M2102KIAC denoted Mi 11 Pro and M2101K9C denote Mi 11 Lite is being spotted in TENAA yet, the Chinese company hadn’t revealed any information about Mi 11 Lite variant launch.
