As online learning continues to be standard for many students because of the pandemic, HP is betting on its Chromebook 11a on the booming “cost-effective” notebook market. The latest HP Chromebook 11a is perfect for both students and new laptop owners, but the Rs 21,999 entry-level makes this system far more affordable. HP states Flipkart is the only exclusive buying platform for Chromebook 11a. The HP Chromebook 11a is not an advanced and top specifications flagship notebook. The idea is to have a laptop that will boot up instantly, and students will log into their Google Docs account in no time.

The Chrome OS-driven computer is equipped with an 11.6-inch HD touch screen, weighing 1kg, and a MediaTek MT8183 Octa-core processor. The port set contains one USB-A and one USB-C, and the HP card reader is also included, which sounds like it is compatible with all sorts of mobile, projectors, smart classroom systems. According to HP, the Chromebook 11a runs for up to 16 hours with a single charge. Up to 64GB of storage and up to 100 GB of cloud storage are provided. A full-sized keyboard and a 720p HD camera are also included in the notebook.

These laptops powered by Google were initially slammed because they had no meaning but later found an educational use. They proved to be the best, given their size and weight and professional look, for students who don’t really require fancy upgrades for school work but need a swift machine that can help them access their file and create with utmost ease. In reality, the United States’ academic market is now dominated by Chromebooks, which have a market share in Windows notebooks and iPads. Last year, Lenovo tried the Chromebook market in India with the Chromebook Duet, a 2-in-1 detachable device.

The Chrome OS-based computer has 10-inch Screen size, 4GB RAM, a storage capacity of up to 128GB, and a keyboard and kickstand. The Chromebook has proved to be the perfect notebook for American students. However, India did not see the same acceptance because the laptops run on Windows operating systems from Microsoft. The HP Chromebook 11a launch could enable Chromebook’s market in India to expand. Chromebooks are considered the best devices to access critical services like Gmail and Docs by Google, as many customers are not familiar.

The Laptop looks like it will make a good place for itself in the Indian market finally. The Laptop is backed by HP’s brand value, a big deal given how established HP is in India. Also, looking at the specifications, it seems like it will suit an Indian students’ requirements the best. Its speed and swiftness in control are really compatible with meeting your deadlines and getting work done quickly and more efficiently. It is an excellent machine for this purpose and will surely make a name for itself in no time.

Have you ever tried a Chromebook before? If yes, hows your experience, let me know in the comments.
