Here is our Galaxy M51 Long Term Review

This phone comes with a 7000 mAh battery which is very latest as compared with its close competitors. You will get a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage with it. Along with this, you might also get a discount of a maximum of ₹ 2000 if you apply for any bank offer to purchase it online. This phone has delivered every segment with perfection. It is the most expensive phone of the Samsung M series. Let’s look at various aspects of this phone and check out each segment to measure the value of it:

Performance

This phone’s performance is quite expendable as compared to the previous Galaxy M series smartphones, and Snapdragon 730 G powers it. This software is completely optimized for this phone, and you will have a wonderful experience with it based on its performance. This phone is well handled with respect to bugs, multi-tasking, heating, and scrolling. You will get UFS 2.1 storage which makes the app opening speed faster for gaming purposes. There’s almost no sign of slowing down the operating speed while gaming on this phone. Moreover, it is power efficient, and the fingerprint sensor is quick and smooth. Also, the face recognition feature is also fast enough.

Software & Price Variant

The Samsung Galaxy M51 smartphone runs with Android 10 and OneUI Core 2.1. You will not get many features in OneUI Core 2.1 compared with OneUI, like Edge panel, Edge Lighting, etc. But mostly everything is similar in both the software. You will also get screen recording, NFC, and a Knox 3.5 version. The drawback here is that you will not get a secure folder and Samsung Pay feature on this phone. There is an in-built app lock feature, and you do not have to use any third part application. There are two variants of this phone. One of them is a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model for ₹ 22,999 and the other one is a 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model for ₹ 24,999. You can also expand your storage as it also contains a MicroSD slot.

Other features of this phone are as follows:

  • Dual Messenger
  • Gesture Navigation
  • Game Launcher
  • 2 Nano-SIM slots
  • Colours- Celestial Black, Electric Blue
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • GPS and Wi-Fi AC

Battery

The battery is the main highlight of this phone. You will get a 7000mAh battery; and you won’t even feel that you are given such a huge battery as it weighs less and not that much thicker in shape. This phone weighs 213 grams only, which is very less keeping in mind the battery output. A 25 W good and fast charger supports it. It will almost take 2 hours to charge up your phone completely. Talking about its battery backup, you will get at least 3 days of battery backup very conveniently with moderate use, and moreover, it depends on your usage like always. While playing a game for 15 minutes on this phone, only a 2% battery drop was seen. This is a good sign, and there is no lagging while playing games. There is also an option for reverse charging and acts as a power bank for other mobile phones.

Display

You will get a Punch Hole display with a Super AMOLED panel in it. The phone has a 6.7 inches Infinity-O display with an HD view. It consumes less battery and includes amazing colours with perfect angles. While watching videos or playing games, you will have a fantastic experience with this display.

It also has a horizontal display and dark mode feature. This phone’s peak brightness is 420 nits, but when you use it outdoors, it also provides you with a bright display. You will get HDR support on YouTube videos and Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. Moreover, it has a normal refresh rate.

Camera

This phone comes with a rear view Quad camera setup. The primary camera of 64-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture, the second camera of 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, the third camera of 5-megapixel with depth sensing and the last camera with a 5-megapixel macro lens. The quality camera, colour resolution, retailing, everything is good. Even the night mode of this phone performs very well, and this mode is available for both front and rear camera. The front selfie camera is 32-megapixel, and this is handled well. Also, the portrait feature is available for both the rear and front camera. You will also get an EIS option in the front camera to capture stable videos.

Build Quality

The Galaxy M series phone has a glossy finishing known as Glastick, which is a combination of glass and plastic. You will get a premium outlook of this phone with this range. This phone’s drawback is that it carries smudges on the back very quickly and is very glossy. Most people like matte finish compared with the glossy look. There is no protective cover provided to protect the glossy back from smudging.

Other Features

You will get a single loudspeaker on the bottom of this phone with a headphone jack. An in-built call recording option is also given, and the fingerprint scanner is placed on the side of this phone, which is very fast.

Conclusion

In conclusion, one major point in this Galaxy M series is its battery. It’s mostly attracting a lot of people because of its battery enhancement. This new model of Samsung provides you with many other features compared with the old M series phones. You will get a huge battery phone, and the performance is also good. Overall, there are no bad issues with this phone, and it is worth the price. Camera, display, quality everything is handled properly, and this phone is highly recommended for those who have battery issues or want a good battery phone. You can invest in this phone without much thinking as there are very minimal cons with this phone, and it is reviewed as the best phone in this segment of the Samsung Brand.
