Everyone is aware that finally, Xiaomi has made a comeback in the tablet market with their brand new Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. That too with three latest versions all at once! And this isn’t the most exciting part. There’s more. The specifications and details will leave the buyers in awe.

Two of the larger versions, i.e., two of them, come with a Snapdragon 870 chipset. In comparison, the smaller version of the tablet comes with a Snapdragon 860. News is that only the last of Xiaomi Pad 5’s variants are set to enter the global market, but the best of the lot is only available in China.

Is the all-new Xiaomi Pad 5 really an iPad for Android?

As per reviews and feedback after the launch of Xiaomi’s latest tablet, it is no doubt that Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is an exceptional gadget. However, it is still an Android tablet. But this is not a shortcoming! Overall, the tablet does not disappoint on the hardware front, nor is there any fault in its software.

As the common opinion goes, Android tablets are no match for iPads. But Xiaomi definitely aims to change the narration. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 outruns every specification of the Apple equivalent device with its slick, lightweight design that is reserved for Apple premium models.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Xiaomi has launched its device as a direct competition to the entry-level iPad. With its adoption of high-end iPad designs- slim bezel, squared-off edges, and premium material it indeed gives off an overall iPad aesthetics. Some might question the company’s originality, but the outcome does not leave space for any complaint!

What are the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 5?

After making a comeback to the Indian market after seven long, long years, Xiaomi has launched a device that users cannot resist. With a WQHD+ (2.5k resolution) 120Hz display, the tablet comes with a battery capacity of 8720mAh. Along with the tablet, the company launched a Smart Keyboard and a Smart Pen, which have played a role in wooing the audience.

The starting price of the gadgets is around Rs. 24,999 for the smaller variant, whereas the larger one starts at Rs. 26,999. These are the introductory prices that are valid till May 7 only. So grab your chance now!

Conclusion

The verdict is that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is miles ahead of its closest iPad equivalent in the android ecosystem and it’s giving tough competition to Samsung Tab S7 Plus. So it is pretty safe to say the tablet is the new competition to the existing iPad models and does justice to the audience.
