The Reliance Jio Monsoon Hungama is offering an exchange offer scheme where the 2017 version of the Jio Phone can be exchanged. Under this exchange deal, you can exchange your old feature phone for a new Jio Phone at a nominal price of Rs 501. Jio Phone users can take advantage of special recharge offers as well as part of the deal.
The amount of Rs501 that users pay will be fully refundable after three years, which makes the Jio Phone free of cost, claimed by the company. Jio Hungama offer was announced by Mr. Mukesh Ambani at an annual general meeting of the company last month, where the Jio Phone 2 was also announced. Jio has revealed an early preview for the users, which is now live.

This Jio Phone Rs501 offer can be availed at offline retail stores on exchanging the old 2G/3G/4G non-VOLTE phone. The old Jio phone must be in working condition and the charger should also be present. It needs to be handed to the retailer in exchange of the new Jio Phone. Those who choose the exchange offer will also get a new Jio SIM with the Jio Phone.
Those customers who want to continue with their existing number can choose the Mobile Number Portability.

Reliance Jio has also introduced a special recharge plan under its Monsoon Hungama offer. The customers with Jio Phone will have to recharge with Rs594 at the time of activation to gain unlimited voice calls and data for six months.
There is a special exchange bonus of 6GB data voucher which costs Rs101 has also been revealed for the Jio Phone users.
There are currently two Jio Phone plans available that are: Rs49 and Rs153. In the Rs49 plan you will get 1 GB monthly data, it is a of trial plan, whereas the highest selling plan is of Rs153 which provides 1.5 GB data/day.

Those who are interested in Monsoon Hungama offer need to make sure that their old Jio mobile phone is in working condition, and should not have any damaged or missing parts or broken. Feature phones which were sold on January 1 2015 onward will be eligible for the exchange.
Any 2G, 3G, 4G devices, Jio Phone or CDMA or operator locked devices will not be eligible for the exchange offer. Please note that only battery and the charger with the phone are needed for the exchange.
