iPad 3 to hit stores early March 2012

The much awaited iPad 3 is all set to hit stores early March 2012. As per a source, the much rumoured device will come with a thicker design and higher resolution.

It will be 0.7mm thicker for accommodating the twin-light bar system which is necessary for the iPad’s high-resolution display. DigiTimes stated that Apple’s display partners namely Samsung, LG and Sharp have already shipped the iPad 3’s 1 million units of high resolution flat panels along with beginning to ship to Foxconn, manufacturer of Apple’s iPad.

However, the company has not yet revealed anything with respect to the device’s screen size. A source stated that iPad 3 will boast of a retina display. The device will be preloaded with a host of features and specifications namely deep integration of Twitter, Siri, Newstand, and Notification Centre.

Users can make full use of Apple’s iOS operating system’s more than 200 new features. Musically, the iPad 3 is likely to come with full iCloud integration.

To add to it, users can also enjoy the latest Google Music service on their iPad 3.
