Mozilla’s latest browser Firefox 9 has made its official debut this Tuesday. It promises to offer 30% faster speed along with a host of new features compared to its predecessor. It is presently available for free download for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

The main highlights of Firefox 9 include JavaScript performance, support for Mac OS X Lion, as well as an Android version optimized for tablets. The JavaScript performance coupled with new developer tools will make Web browsing much faster as stated by Mozilla.
