1) Steve Jobs- Following the sudden demise of Steve Jobs on October 5, numerous fans bid him goodbye through the medium of Twitter. The hashtag #RIPSteveJobs instantly turned a trending topic. His demise bagged ninth position on the list of most tweets-per-second in Twitter this year. The world since his passing including Microsoft’s Bill Gates, United States President Barack Obama as well as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg celebrated his achievements and mourned his death. Obama posted a tweet “Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. From all of us at #Obama2012, thank you for the work you make possible every day—including ours.”
Bill Gates- “For those of us lucky enough to get to work with Steve, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely.”

2) Osama Bin Laden- White House posted a tweet quoting President Barack Obama on 1st May at 11:35pm confirming the news of terrorist Laden’s death.
