Nokia’s Symbian Powered Smartphone 500 Launched in India

Nokia’s Symbian powered smartphone 500, which was announced back in August, has finally been launched in India. It runs on Symbian Anna and features 3.2” display, 3G connectivity, 5MP camera, 2GB of internal memory to name a few.

This is the first Symbian Anna powered handset that runs on 1GHz processor. India’s popular online retailer Flipkart is presently selling this smartphone in the country. Its complete specifications include 640×480 pixel resolutions, geo-tagging, 4x digital zoom, VGA video recording, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n and more. The list of features does not end here.

It also includes other features like 3.55mm headset jack, MicroSD card slot, up to 32GB of expandable memory, GPS, A-GPS, talk-time of 7 hours, stand-by time of 500 hours, 1110 mAh battery and Bluetooth 2.1.

The Nokia 500 weighs just 93g and measures about 53.8 x 111.3 x 14.1 mm. This handset is available at Flipart at Rs 10, 200. The Nokia 500 will be available in attractive colours of azure blue, coral red, black, orange, purple, khaki, dark silver and hot pink.
