With customers opting to stay up late rather than getting up early to shop this Black Friday, renowned retailer Walmart has decided to organise three special events for the convenience of their customers.

The retail giant has decided to begin their doorbuster sales at 10pm on several items like clothing, home items and toys. Customers can grab the electronics deals beginning at midnight. The electronic deals will also include an HP laptop at $248 and a 40” television at $248.
Further sales in the store in all sections will begin at 8am. The first retailer this year to announce midnight opening was none other than Target. Best Buy, Kohl’s and Macy’s also followed suit.
Another renowned retailer Toys “R” Us has scheduled to open their stores on Thursday at 9pm, an hour in advance than its 10pm. Opening of Thanksgiving the previous year. A spokesperson of Toys R Us stated that early opening in 2010 was highly appreciated by customers thereby adding that extended hours proof helpful for local employees to manage the crowd.
A couple of other retailers like Brass Pro Shops, Michaels and Kmart as well as local drugstore chains will open their stores on Thursday morning. The theme of earlier the better this year also relates to the ads. Best Buy, Toys “R” Us and Lowe’s to name a few have released their Black Friday advertisements in early November via social media platforms.
National Retail Federation is expecting about 152 million shoppers to shop on Black Friday weekend while other analysts feel that fewer than ever are likely to actually enter a store.
