IMImobile, Mobile VAS company has finally broken the language barrier with its new app—My SMS. This app will offer SMS in 8 major languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati and Bangla.

This application has been designed keeping in mind the present English literacy level in the country, where 1 out of 5 mobile phone users can access the functioning of SMS. The new SMS-based application—MY SMS will enable users to send and receive messages in their respective native language.
This can also be offered as white-label app for media companies, telecom operators, media companies, enterprises and device manufacturers.
This app will be of great help for agencies such as government or service providers to send messages in a language which is ideal for the user.
Chief Executive and founder of IMImobile, Vishwanath Alluri stated that the huge diversity in the country with over 29 spoken languages and above 1,000 dialects has resulted in a barrier with operators finding it challenging to information enable its complete user base.
As a result it has resulted in smaller growth of SMS-based services. He further added that with the launch of this app, they are looking forward to end the language barrier that has been a massive obstruction for the dispersion of the revolution of the telecom.
He added that with MY SMS app they are gearing up to empower users particularly in the rural district to enable them to benefit from this revolution and that too in their native language.
This app can be downloaded for free in multiple ways. The USP of MY SMS app is its hassle free scalability which offers the addition of multiple languages.
