Apple Inc. is gearing up to give a complete makeover to its next generation iPhone; the iPhone 6, which is likely to hit markets in the coming year as has been updated by the Wall Street Journal.

As per the update, the refurbished version of the iPhone will come with features such as a new handset charging method–touch or some kind of inductive charging.
It is a wireless method of charging, where a device comes with in-built charging electronics and devoid of any facility of electrical contact.
This device can simply be put on a charging dock akin to those used in the 2009 Palm Pre as well as electric toothbrushes. The journal also recapped previous rumours of the company developing an affordable iPhone for the developing countries.
The Wall Street Journal also reported on Wednesday that Apple is planning to sell around 25 million of iPhone 5 by the year end.
This device sounds like a slight upgrade of the iPhone 4 with lighter and thinner chassis and 8 MP camera. It will use Qualcomm based wireless chips instead of chips of Infineon Technologies as used by its predecessor.
